Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit

The Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit is an accessible shooting event for people with disabilities of all skill levels and knowledge of firearms.

ADSS in Colorado will be a new event for 2025 in addition to the normal ADSS event held at Sig Sauer in September of 2025. This event will take place on July 11 & 12, 2025 at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex in Palisade, CO (just outside Grand Junction, CO).

The Cameo Shooting and Education Complex is owned and operated by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. The Cameo Complex is a state of the art facility that is accessible and welcomes ADSS and all adaptive participants.

Registration for the 2025 ADSS Cameo event will be open April 1, 2025 here on the AdaptiveShoot website.

The ADSS CAMEO event will be held July 11 & 12, 2025.

Cameo Shooting and Education Complex recommends those participants seeking information on RV parking should look to James M Robb Colorado River State Park – Island Acres. There are 84 full RV hookups and the location is one mile from the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex. We were told that in Summer time the State Park RV facilities fill up fast so if you plan to utilize these facilities you should get your reservation in early through the State Park website listed above.
