For the purposes of the ADSS match disabilities are defined as:
Permanent injury or illness that necessitates full time use of a wheelchair (manual or power,) walker, cane or other mobility aid.
Amputation with or without prosthetics
Loss or limitation of function of limb or limbs
Illness, Disease or Condition that significantly interferes with performance of basic Activities of Daily Living (Eating, Bathing, Dressing). Examples include but are not limited to: Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis or Stroke.
ADSS Staff is the sole decision maker in what is considered a disability and what is not considered a disability.
